The Medfield Youth Baseball & Softball website will be moving to SportsEngine for our upcoming Spring 2023 season. Our existing website, MedfieldYBS.org is still being used for Spring registrations.
Why are we moving? Our current website that is hosted with LeagueAthletics.com (owned by SportsEngine) is retiring their platform at the end of the year. However, the Sports SignUp Play mobile app for LeagueAthletics has already been taken down from the Google and Apple app stores. To ensure that all parents can use a mobile app, we decided to move to SportsEngine for our Spring season.
Parents will need to register each of their children on the new website.
Why do you need to do this? SportsEngine has informed us that MYBS cannot migrate users from LeagueAthletics directly to SportsEngine. Parents will be using the SportsEngine mobile app in the Spring. A player must be registered on the new MYBS site so that they can be rostered to their baseball/softball team. If you've registered for Medfield basketball or soccer, your child's profile will be pre-filled, you will just need to select the Spring program they are playing.
Please Note - Summer baseball and softball registration is also NOW open, please click the "Registration" tab at the top to register for Summer ball.
