All Medfield Baseball and Softball volunteers are required to undergo an annual background check prior to assuming their volunteer responsibilities.  Coaches and other volunteers must complete a separate registration with Medfield Baseball and Softball and provide identifying information in order to facilitate the background checks. 

Coaching Registration will remain open throughout the season; however, coaches and other volunteers are not permitted to assume their responsibilities until the required background check has been completed.
 

Regardless if you completed the steps below last year, you will need to complete them again for 2024.

What you need to do:

1. Register as a coach on MYBS Website, this will allow you access to coaching tools on our site and SportsEngine
2. Complete the Little League Volunteer Application*
   • Note - You will receive an invitation to complete the online process via JDP
3. Attend one of the two MYBS Coaches meeting (March 24 or March 27)  ... or review the slides presented.
4. Complete the USA Baseball Abuse Awareness Training for Adults* (MYBS requires this for baseball and softball coaches)

Note that Coordinators will get a report on who registered to coach, but it doesn't hurt to reach out to them too (Grade Coordinator contact list).

* Send LL form & drivers license to MedfieldYBS@protonmail.com.  Once you've completed the Abuse Awareness training you will receive an email confirmation, please forward that email to MedfieldYBS@protonmail.com.
