Welcome to the MYBS Registration page. Registration is now open for all baseball and softball programs. Registration will remain open until the date listed for the specific program.
How it works:Click the program you would like to register your child in from the list below.When prompted during registration, enter your e-mail address and Password and hit "Submit." If you don't remember your password, hit submit and a new, temporary password will be sent to your e-mail address.
If you have had a child in an MYBS program:Once you login, your profile information should be in the system. You can change your password and make any other change/updates to your profile. You also will see all the information on your children who have played in a MYB/S program before. You also can easily add a new child to the system. If you need to update information for your profile (your e-mail changes, for example) simply go to "Edit My Account" and login to your profile.
If you do not have a child who has played in an MYBS program: Once you login, you will build your family's profile information and add the children interested in playing softball or baseball.
Most programs are based on the grade your child is in enrolled in as of Fall 2022; some programs are based on birth date. See each program's description for further details on eligibility.
Refund Policy: MYBS will refund 100 percent of the registration fee paid up until teams are selected, MINUS $10 for processing fees. After teams are selected, we will only refund a registration fee because of injury. No refunds will be granted once the season begins/first game is played.

Coaches must attend the annual coaches meeting, complete the CORI & Little League Volunteer forms for both Massachusetts and National background checks, details will be provided on how to complete these.

Introduction to Softball (Kindergarten)
This program is for girls enrolled in Kindergarten during the 2022-2023 School Year.
New this year MYBS is offering a Kindergarten program focusing on the fun and fundamentals of softball. The girls will start with T Stands and progress to coach pitch. We will not keep score, but will introduce the girls to the basic rules of the game. Games/Clinics will be held one night a week. The schedule is still being determined based on field availability.
Equipment: Players are expected to have a helmet with a cage and a glove. Jerseys and hats will be provided. Cleats are not required (you can use cleats from other sports at this age). Coaches will have some shared equipment.
Tuesday nights, 5:30-6:30 at Wheelock. It will be starting Tuesday May 2nd and run through Tuesday June 6th.

Spring 2023: Grade 1/2 Softball
This program is for girls enrolled in 1st or 2nd grade during the 2022-2023 School Year.
Games/clinics will be held Saturday mornings at 9:30am at the Wheelock Softball fields and will run for 90 minutes. We will also hold an optional skills development on Tuesday nights at 5:30pm at the Wheelock Softball Fields which will run for 60 minutes. All teams will play at the same time.
Tuesdays 5:30pm, and Saturday mornings at Wheelock School.
Format: On Saturday’s, there will be a 45 minute skills clinic followed by a 2 inning game (coach pitch), and will end with a relay race around the bases. During the clinics, we will mix the players from the various teams to participate in hitting/fielding/throwing stations. New this season, we are planning to introduce scrimmages against various surrounding towns for those that are interested (Medway, Millis etc).
Equipment: Players are expected to have a helmet with a cage, a glove, and a bat is recommended but not required. Jerseys and hats will be provided. Girls are encouraged, but not required to wear softball pants. Cleats are not required (you can use cleats from other sports at this age). Coaches will have some shared equipment.

Spring 2023: 1st Grade - Instructional
Instructional baseball is for players enrolled in the first grade during the 2022-2023 school year.
Tuesday nights at 5:30pm at McCarthy Park, and will run for 90 minutes, and Saturday mornings for skills development at 11am at McCarthy Park and will run for 90 minutes. All teams will play at the same time.
Format: Coaches will have a 45 minute practice, then teams will compete in a 2 inning game (coach pitch), and the day will end with the famous race around the bases!
Equipment: Players are expected to have a helmet with a cage, a glove, and a bat is recommended but not required. Baseball cleats are not required (you can use cleats from other sports at this age). Coaches will have some shared equipment.
Please do not register any Kindergarten students, Park and Rec runs a t-ball program for their age group. Spring baseball is grade based.

Spring 2023: 2nd Grade - A Ball
2nd grade baseball is for players enrolled in the second grade during the 2022-2023 school year.
Thursday nights at 5:30pm at McCarthy Park, and will run for 90 minutes, and Saturday mornings for skills development at 9am at McCarthy Park and will run for 90 minutes. All teams will play at the same time.
Format: There will be a 30-45 minute practice followed by a 2 inning game (coach pitch), and will end with a race around the bases. During the season we will develop pitching skills during practices, and toward the end of the season we will introduce player pitching with coach help (Summer baseball will be player pitch, so we need to develop pitchers for this age group).
Equipment: Players are expected to have a helmet with a cage, a glove, and a bat is recommended but not required. Cleats are not required (you can use cleats from other sports at this age). Coaches will have some shared equipment.

Spring 2023: 3rd Grade Baseball - Farm
Farm Ball is for players enrolled in the third grade in the 2022-2023 school year.
Monday and Wednesday nights and start at 5:30 at McCarthy Park.
There will also be an optional skills development practice on Saturday mornings.
Format: Umpired game no longer than 2 hours. Coaches will expect players to show up 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time in order to warm up and practice.
Equipment: Players are expected to have a helmet with a cage, a glove, and a bat is recommended but not required. Baseball cleats are not required (you can use cleats from other sports at this age). Coaches will have some shared equipment.

Spring 2023: 4th/5th Grades - AAA Ball
AAA Ball is for kids enrolled in the fourth and fifth grades in the 2022-2023 school year.
5th Grade parents - there will be a tryout for anyone who wants to play Majors (5th/6th grade), if your player does not make the majors team then they will still be able to play AAA. You can choose to register directly for AAA and skip Majors tryouts, however if your son/daughter intends to try out then you MUST register for the Majors program (not this registration). Majors will be all 6th graders and some 5th graders (generally 10 to 18 players based on team numbers).
Monday and Wednesday nights and start at 5:30pm at Metacomet OR McCarthy Park.
Coaches will schedule practices/skills on Saturday or Sundays.

Spring 2023: 5th/6th Grades - Majors
Majors baseball is for boys enrolled in the fifth and sixth grades in the 2022-2023 school year.
Games will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights at Metacomet (starting at 5:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m).
Practice times will be on the weekends and TBD by coaches. On occasion there may be a Friday night game every other week. We are also looking to have games during the season with Dover Sherborn's town program too (so there may be 'away' games in Dover).
Tryout Dates: March 26th @11:30am-1:00pm at Sluggers, and April 1st @ 4pm-6pm at Schilling (weather permitting)
Players must attend at least one tryout date, it is highly recommended that they attend both.
Players must be registered for Majors prior to the tryout in order to participate.
Note - All 6th graders will be placed on a majors team, no tryout necessary.

Spring 2023: 7th/8th Babe Ruth
Babe Ruth baseball is for boys enrolled in the seventh and eight grades in the 2022-2023 school year.
At this time we are determining the level of interest in the program. If we have enough registered to form a team we will proceed with entering a team(s) into either the Medway or King Phillip Babe Ruth League. There is no fee to register at this time. If we have enough to form a team, the cost will be approximately $170.

2023 Summer Baseball (12s)
Summer 12u will be a competitive travel baseball program that plays other towns in our area. Eligibility is based on age (September 1st through August 31st birthday dates). Please visit Little League's site to determine your age group.
You must register in order to participate in the tryouts (dates are TBD).

Regular Season for A team will be July 11th through August 10th (playoffs are Aug 5-11th), the Regular Season for B team will start June 26th and run through end of July.

Reilly Tournament (Westwood) - June 15th-18th (to be confirmed)
Williamsport Tournament - late June to July 10th (to be confirmed)
Sandwich Tournament - July 27th - 30th (hotels have been reserved)
Registration fees do NOT include ALL tournament fees and uniform costs (MYBS will pay for one tournament). Coaches will be paying for most tournaments out of pocket and will need to be reimbursed.
